Generally speaking, your admission purchase covers all concerts, attractions and exhibits at the State Fair of Virginia; however, some other attractions have an additional cost. Rides are not included in the general admission cost. Ride tickets and wristbands can be purchased at the fair at the Ride Ticket Booths in the Midway and Kidway areas.
In general, fair operating hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
All concerts are included with fair admission.
There are no mask or vaccination mandates in place. We will follow mandates issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia. To help our guests feel comfortable, we have allowed for more “green” space as we’ve planned our layouts, will have ample hand sanitizing opportunities, and have several permanent restroom facilities.
General parking is free.
Premium parking is close to the action via Gate 2 behind the Farm Bureau Center. Buy in advance, online, to park in an asphalt lot to save time getting to your favorite fair attractions. These tickets can be purchased online.
Admission is not included, but must be purchased in advance; all vehicle occupants must purchase admission tickets in advance. Valid only for specific day purchased; limited quantity available. Tickets sales for the following day end at 8 a.m.
